About Us
Part of the Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire communities for over 100 years
Our mixed practice was established over a century ago, meaning we’ve had decades to learn about the people in our community and what they want from their local vets.
We settled into our current premises in Paisley in 1910, before opening our Greenock branch in the 1960s to expand the areas we could cover and help even more patients.
Today our experienced team members, who work across our branches, have wide-ranging interests within the small animal, farm and equine fields, including ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. Many of us are also trained to work with all species, meaning there will always be a friendly face on hand to provide the support you need.
The welfare of our patients is vitally important to us, which is why we constantly strive to provide the highest levels of veterinary care across all of our services, no matter the time of day.
You can access that care 24/7, as we run our own out of hours and emergency service for pets, as well as a 24-hour mobile emergency service for large animals.
Our small animal team can provide all the routine services you’ll need to keep your dogs, cats, rabbits and exotic pets healthy and happy, as well as laparoscopic surgeries, comfortable inpatient care and more.
Farm clients can make the most of mobile visits, fertility services and health plans for cattle and sheep, as well as in-house diagnostic and laboratory tests.
We also offer a variety of services for horses, ponies and donkeys, ranging from dental care and vaccinations to certain surgeries and x-ray and ultrasound scans.
We’re proud of the relationships we’ve developed in our communities over the years, whether that’s fundraising for local charities like The Canmore Trust and Beatson Cancer Charity or providing work experience placements to local students.
Sustainability is also a key priority for us, and we recycle paper and cardboard wherever we can and have special recycling points in practice for our aprons, gloves and masks.
